Bethany Handley is an award-winning Welsh writer, poet and disability activist. Her work explores nature and disability, challenging the barriers Disabled people experience, and has been published in a wide range of magazines and featured by BBC Radio 4 and BBC Wales, amongst others. Her debut poetry pamphlet to be published in 2025 focuses on the experience of being a young woman “in the crossfire of ableism”.
